New Zealand Judges Orders Parents to change name of child.

The articles linked above kinda puts my name change in perspective for a lot of people and also makes me think about what I possibly may inflict upon my children given the fact that all their surnames will legally be Shadow (since that's my surname).

so far, names for children that Fatin & I have discussed are fanciful but are nice and can be abbreviated to something more proper.

the names we are completing include:

Aurora (female)

Lucifina Aveline (abbreviated to Lucy or Lu and named Aveline after my friend who passed last year)

Dante

the problem with having a name such as Shadow is that it's hard to put a normal name in front of it but you don't want anything too far out there.
but have time to decide on what we want to name our children and all.

my kitties are indoor ones who stay out in a cage during the day, so they are always underfoot and wanting attention.

such as now with Samadhi (the white one) sitting in my ensuite, meowing at me for food and/or attention.

such an adorabubble little brat. :)

not so much. they are outdoor cats that only come inside when we leave the door open too long. cheeky devils :P then they just sit in the middle of the hall, or the area that is likely to be walked through the most and expect you to just go around them. they also wont stop staring at you in the morning until they get their milk. :laughing:
